Having born to a high-class Hindu Vellalar family, he is a well-educated person working as a Senior Lecturer at a Private University in Colombo. He is tall and very handsome and has good character and positive attitudes. He is also an Entrepreneur, founded an EdTech company and running this on part-time basis. He has completed his MBA and a first degree in Management from the University of Peradeniya. He is also an associate member (ACMA) of CIMA and a senior member (SAT) of AAT. He is currently reading for a PhD in a government university.
